Ramand Environmental Ltd is led by Andrew Ramand, BSc (Hons), MSc, MIEMA, MIEnvSc. Andrew has over 20 years of experience as an Environmental Advisor and Environmental Project Manager with clients that have included property developers, renewable energy providers, major utilities companies, infrastructure managers, construction engineers, real estate/investment companies, funders and national and local government.
Andrew prides himself on developing a strong working relationship with each of his clients and making sure that he understands the commercial drivers behind the work he supports on. He is a technically excellent environmental and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) practitioner, with experience of directing, managing and delivering feasibility studies, environmental appraisals and EIAs across a range of sectors, including renewable energy, transmission & distribution, transport, property and major infrastructure.
He has directed, managed and/or contributed to over 100 EIAs across these sectors. He has also undertaken numerous geology, hydrology, hydrogeology and peatland assessments which have contributed to the understanding of ground and water conditions within each project development area. In this field, he has worked closely with architects, engineers and other specialists in order to achieve an environmentally sound and sustainable design for each project.
